Virtual Public Open House: August 2 – August 16, 2021
Due to concerns about the spread of COVID-19, this virtual public Open House is presented in a web-based format (no in-person meeting).
The information will be available from August 2, 2021 through August 16, 2021, and comments are requested by August 16, 2021.
Project Overview
The purpose of the project is to correct roadway deficiencies, enhance safety, and efficiently accommodate traffic. Existing SH-10A is an asphalt, two-lane rural road that collects traffic from local roads and conducts that traffic to through roads and state highways.
SH-10A has 10 ft. to 11 ft. wide driving lanes. Hills and curves that do not comply with current design standards contribute to a collision history approximately three times the statewide average for a roadway of this type.
ODOT has tasked a Consultant to look at alternatives for improving SH-10A through Paradise Hill, while taking into consideration construction costs, right-of-way costs, and environmental constraints.
The public may view the project design and additional informaiton on this virtual public Open House website.
