King County Metro COVID-19 Service Survey (SEUI 1199NW)
King County Metro COVID-19 Service Survey (SEUI 1199NW)
King County Metro Transit reduced service in response to the COVID-19 crisis and the "Stay Home, Stay Healthy" order. These reductions allow us to preserve a core network that gets as many people who must travel at this time to their essential services and worksites. The reductions also allow us to address changes in ridership and our workforce since we want to protect our frontline staff and adjust to workforce availability.
We do know, however, that our core network may not meet the needs of everyone who requires transit options right now. That is why we want to collect feedback from SEIU 1199NW members to better understand the current mobility needs of those who are still traveling to/from work.
In addition to Metro fixed-route service running a reduced schedule, here are current schedule for the following services:
- Access Paratransit is running normal operations with the exception that they are now providing rides for people with disabilities, without certification
- Community Van is still running service for essential travel
- Link light rail is running reduced service
- Streetcar is running reduced service
- Water Taxi is running reduced service
