Your responses will help identify transportation priorities and set a vision for rapid bus transit service for the Western Corridor Extension study area.
The Capital Area Metropolitan Planning Organization (CAMPO) is conducting the Wake BRT: Rapid Bus Extensions Study to identify and evaluate rapid bus routing options and to select preferred solutions for rapid bus extensions that will build upon the planned Wake Bus Rapid Transit (BRT): Western and Southern Corridors.
The planned Wake BRT: Western Corridor will connect downtown Raleigh to downtown Cary. The Western Corridor rapid bus extension will build onto that route by extending service out to Research Triangle Park (RTP). The study area is bordered by NC 55 to the west, I-40 to the north and east, and Cary Parkway to the south.
