Final Design and Park Closure

Enderly Park Improvements have begun! Below is the final plan for the park. Please note that the connection to Coker Avenue may have to come in a second phase of work. The park will be closed until work is complete.

Work started recently to remove some of the old features of the park. Soon residents will see grading activities in preparation for the new shelter and other amenities. The park will be closed during construction for the safety of the community. We hope that all work will be completed by Spring 2023. Please check back here for updates.

Concept

Based on community input, staff have finalized proposed improvements to Enderly Park as shown on the concept plan above. Due to the level of investment, staff are working with a design consultant to finalize the design plans for construction. The project budget will determine how much of the final concept plan will be implemented in this phase of construction. Staff will use the priorities identified from the previous public meetings to guide our decisions.

While the design progresses, Park and Recreation Operations staff are working through early 2022 to clear out overgrown vegetation and remove the baseball field/fencing in advance of implementing the new park program. Stay tuned for additional information and the construction schedule.
