PHASE I SURVEY RESULTS

70 neighbors shared input on the Phase I survey for Heritage Hill Park (available Aug-Oct 2020).

Top priorities for improvements were:

  • Benches and seating (76%)
  • Landscaping (native plants, trees, etc.) (69%)
  • Walkway improvements (60%)
  • Public art (43%)

Other themes expressed were:

  1. Making the space feel more like a public park with signage and seating
  2. Keeping the space passive and quiet, and keeping Pleasant Park as the center for active recreation in the neighborhood
  3. Increasing landscaping, whether that was more trees, flowers for pollinators, or a community garden
