South Pleasant Valley Road Corridor Improvements
The City of Austin is working to address gaps along South Pleasant Valley Road while improving safety and mobility for people driving, taking transit, walking and biking.
The 6.3-mile stretch of South Pleasant Valley Road from Oltorf Street to Slaughter Lane is an important north-south corridor in Southeast Austin, but it is not a fully connected street.
Overview
South Pleasant Valley is broken along this corridor by gaps that prevent the street from providing better regional connectivity and addressing long-term needs within the corridor.
The City of Austin is working to address these gaps while also making safety and mobility improvements across the corridor for people driving, taking transit, walking and biking.
