PUBLIC WORKSHOP NOTICE
WORKSHOP AND 14-DAY PUBLIC COMMENT PERIOD FOR REVISIONS TO EXISTING CLARK COUNTY AIR QUALITY REGULATIONS (AQRs)
The Clark County Department of Environment and Sustainability, Division of Air Quality (DAQ) is proposing the following updates to the AQRs.
Amending:
- Section 12.2: Permit Requirements for Major Sources in Attainment Areas (Prevention of Significant Deterioration)
- Section 12.3: Permit Requirements for Major Sources in Nonattainment Areas
- Section 12.4: Authority to Construct Application and Permit Requirements for Part 70 Sources
- Section 12.5: Part 70 Operating Permit Requirements
DAQ is scheduling a virtual workshop to discuss and solicit comments from persons interested in the proposed regulations on Tuesday, January 20, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. PST.
The draft regulations will be posted at the start of the public comment period. The public comment period will start Friday, January 16, 2026, and will close Friday, January 30, 2026, at 5:00 p.m. PST. An additional notification will be emailed and posted on Friday, January 16, 2026, for the public comment period.
