The City of Charlotte is in the midst of Alignment Rezoning (ARZ), a project that strives to align our rules for new development on the City's Official Zoning Map with our community values and vision in the Charlotte Future 2040 Comprehensive Plan and Policy Map. Alignment Rezoning will be a city-led project that spans multiple years.
