The City of Charlotte’s Urban Design Center invites local artists, designers, and creative teams to submit qualifications for a neighborhood signage project in the Greenville neighborhood located along the Urban Arboretum Trail (UAT). The project involves two deliverables that should be distinct but artistically complimentary of one another:

• Designing a street sign topper that celebrates the historic Greenville neighborhood in Charlotte, NC.
• A series of “post and panel” neighborhood identification signs that will be installed at strategic locations in the historic Greenville neighborhood.

Please read the attached Call for Artists for qualifications, deliverables, and timeline requirements. Responses are due Wednesday, September 16^th, 2026 at 11:59 PM.
