Data Center Study Engagement

On Monday, June 8, Charlotte City Council voted to establish a moratorium on data centers. During this time, the city is working to gather facts about the impacts of data centers on surrounding communities and will create recommended policy changes for City Council consideration.

The public will have an opportunity to provide feedback once the city has presented information from consultants, studies and research.
