Welcome to the Triangle Bikeway East Design survey!  As you may recall, the previous Triangle Bikeway Study included robust public engagement, concluded the planning phase of the project, and resulted in the selection of a Preferred Alternative (or route) for the overall corridor to move forward into design.

Question title

Did you participate in any public engagement activities, including online surveys, during the planning phase of the Bikeway – between 2020-2022?

The current Triangle Bikeway East Design Project is moving a portion of the Triangle Bikeway into the design phase. It connects about 14 miles of a bike and pedestrian corridor between Research Triangle Park (RTP) and Raleigh. (see above, Triangle Bikeway East map illustration)

The technical design team has produced a set of alternatives in specific areas along the corridor that needed further refinement as we move to complete preliminary design on the project.

Community review and feedback is needed as we are evaluating a number of factors in the Alternatives Analysis for these specified areas.
