Beverly Sheffield Northwest District Park Playground Replacement

The Beverly S. Sheffield Northwest District Park Playscape Replacement Project will replace the aging 2–5 and 5–12 age group playgrounds, enhance ADA accessibility, and address drainage issues. The project follows the 2022 Vision Plan, which identified the playgrounds as the top priority for improvements. The project will preserve key historic elements, including the Miller-Melberg “Turtle” sculpture and the “Northwest Park Playground” seat wall, while upgrading play features within the existing footprint to protect heritage trees and critical root zones.
