This request would increase the maximum allowable height from 3 stories/40 feet to 3 stories/50 feet; allow for an additional building type (apartment); and permit development of multi-family townhomes. Compared to existing zoning, the requested RX- district would allow development on smaller lots with less restrictive setbacks. The request would also allow for some neighborhood-serving commercial uses, subject to limited use standards which restrict their size and scale. The request is for a general use district and no zoning conditions are proposed.
