PLTA-26-4: Agriculture-related Code Amendments
This is a collection of text amendments to the City of Cheyenne Unified Development Code (UDC) and Municipal Code. The proposed amendments would clarify agricultural uses and permissions, allow for gravel parking, allow electric fences for livestock control, and clarify livestock allowances. This will go before the Planning Commission and City Council for final approval. Public comment will be taken at those meetings.

City Council Work Session
Staff Work Session with City Council on August 21st at Noon in the City Council chambers to review the drafted amendments. No public comment will be taken at this meeting.
Amendment Revisions
Staff will make revisions based on feedback given.
Planning Commission
The UDC amendments will be heard by the Planning Commission.
The Planning Commission date will depend on the scope of revisions necessary from input on the draft amendments, but will occur no sooner than September 8th, 2026.
Public comment will be taken at this meeting.
City Council Introduction
Introduced at City Council one week after the Planning Commission takes action.
Public comment will not be taken at this meeting.
Public Services Committee
Will be heard by the Public Services Committee one week after introduction.
Public comment will be taken at this meeting.
City Council 2nd Reading
Will be heard by the City Council two weeks after introduction.
Public comment will be taken at this meeting.
Public Services Committee
Will be heard by the Public Services Committee three to four weeks after introduction.
