Chantilly Co-Location Project
Chantilly Co-Location Project
Fairfax County is in the very early concept stage of exploring the possibility of redeveloping the Chantilly Regional Library site to include a new regional library, affordable housing, and a new technical operations facility. No final plan or design has been created at this stage. The County is beginning the public input process to better understand community priorities, questions, and concerns. Click the Meetings tab to register for our first community engagement session on Thursday, July 16th at the Chantilly Regional Library.

- A new regional library
- A new technical operations facility for the library
- Housing
- Community space
*Due to a high demand for this event, registration is now closed. Throughout this process, there will be many opportunities to contribute feedback, including a forthcoming online survey that present the same content that will be presented on 7.16. We appreciate your understanding. For a copy of the presentation and to be kept in the loop about this project, email matthew.laborde@fairfaxcounty.gov
Please join staff from Fairfax County Redevelopment and Housing Authority (FCRHA) and Fairfax County Public Libraries (FCPL) to learn about affordable housing, the need for a new library facility, and how they can both benefit the Chantilly community. There will also be time to discuss general timelines, ask questions, and share thoughts.
