This second community survey features two unique conceptual designs for future park improvements, built upon the efforts of the first round survey and Design Workshop’s 2025 Dr. Charles Fellows Summer Internship program.  Please note, all suggested features and improvements will be sized appropriately for a pocket park. Both concepts include interpretive signage to highlight the rich history of the area.

Your feedback on these concepts will help shape the final park improvement plan, which will be shared in a third and final survey in November 2025.

Nature concept for College Row Pocket Park featuring multipurpose field, pollinator garden and deck.

Nature Concept

This concept highlights the park’s natural character with a wildflower meadow, a nature play area, and a multipurpose field for informal recreation. A granite walking path connects key features, including picnic area, natural seating, and space for a community-led pollinator garden. A natural deck nestled beneath the tree canopy provides a unique setting for small lectures, performances, and gatherings.

These images below show examples of features included in the Nature Concept and, if selected, the actual features included in the park may look different. The options in this design are: seeded wildflower meadow, picnic area, nature play area, deck (under the large tree canopy), natural seating, gravel walking path, open multipurpose field, and community-led pollinator garden.
