Project Information
The Stony Creek bridge was originally built in 1954 and had an overlay project completed in 1994. The bridge has a "Poor" rating due to numerous issues with the deck, beams and substructure, and has reached the end of its service life. It was determined that the best alternative for a replacement structure is a new 102' x 28' bridge.
U.S. 6 will be closed to traffic at the project site during construction. The official detour route that will be signed for traffic uses County Rd V18/Jackson St, F29/2nd Street, and U.S. 63.
