D8 Back-To-School Bash!

Councilwoman Ivalis Meza Gonzalez and the SAPD Prue Substation invite the community to join us for our Annual Back to School Bash!

This free, family-friendly event is designed to help students and families prepare for the upcoming school year while connecting them with valuable community resources.

The event will feature:

  • Resource Fair with local organizations
  • Free backpack and school supply giveaway (while supplies last*)
  • Bike Rodeo hosted by SAPD Prue SAFFE Officers to promote bicycle safety through fun, interactive activities.

    Families can also enjoy breakfast tacos from the SAPD Food Truck, refreshing aguas frescas, an ice cream cart, live DJ music, face painting, and balloon animals.

    We look forward to bringing the community together for a fun-filled day as we celebrate the new school year and help students start the school year prepared for success!

    IMPORTANT INFORMATION
  • Free Parking – Parking is available on-site.
  • Backpack & School Supply Giveaway – Limit 1 Backpack per child and available while supplies last*.
  • Bike Rodeo – Children are encouraged to bring their own bicycle and helmet to participate in SAPD's fun, interactive bicycle safety course.
