On May 1, some NC teachers plan to use a personal leave day to travel to Raleigh for a rally. The rally's demands are: increase school support staff, $15 minimum wage for school personnel/5% raise for educators, Medicaid expansion, state retiree health benefits, & restoring master's pay. So far, 26 school districts have cancelled class that day. Do you support the decision of teachers to rally in Raleigh?
