The Fairfax County Department of Transportation (FCDOT) is considering a proposal to create a Community Parking District in Dranesville District, which calls for parking restrictions that will prohibit parking of certain vehicles such as boats, motor homes, campers; vehicles with three or more axels, that weigh more than 12,000 pounds or are designed to carry 16 or more passengers; and vehicles used for hazmat transport on public streets in residential areas. Please note these restrictions include vehicles that are owned by residents.

Feedback will be accepted through April 30, 2026.
