Join your neighbors in providing input on this process
Gravois Ave. (Route 30) is a 5.7-mile corridor that runs through the city of St. Louis and connects many neighborhoods, businesses, and community destinations. The Missouri Department of Transportation (MoDOT), in coordination with the City of St. Louis and other partners, is conducting a planning study to evaluate the condition, safety, and long-term needs of Gravois. The goal is to identify opportunities to improve safety while maintaining Gravois’ role as an important transportation corridor. The next major pavement resurfacing project on Gravois is planned to begin in 2029.
About the Committee (Please Read):
The Multimodal Advisory Committee will convene people with a wide range of mobility experiences to share their perspectives and help guide our work. Members will share lived experiences and practical insights to ensure this project is accessible, inclusive, and responsive to people living with disabilities, transit users, cyclists, pedestrians, and others. People who live near Gravois will be prioritized for a spot on this committee, but any City of St. Louis residents or regular users of Gravois are welcome to apply to ensure we have diverse representation.
The time commitment is 6 total hours: 3 meetings, 2 hours each, on weeknights. The meetings will be spaced out over several weeks. Committee members are encouraged to participate in public meetings and share public engagement activities with their neighbors.
Selection Process:
Selected committee members will be alerted by mid-March, and the first meeting will be scheduled for the end of March. Please apply by March 17, 2026.
This committee will occur alongside a Resident Advisory Committee of people who live and/or work in the neighborhoods closest to Gravois/Rte. 30. Interested applicants who live in these neighborhoods are welcome to apply to the committee that best fits their interests.
