Determine and map overlapping codes/regulations and metrics
Initiative Statement
By May 2024, a catalogue of overlapping codes will be produced that will include recommendations that clarify nuances, identify suggestions for removal, and provide guidance to staff on handling conflicting code topics.

Perform a high-level analysis of overlapping requirements to understand differences. | |
Based on the results of the analysis, develop categories for each area that could include items that can be eliminated, overlaps that can be clarified to reduce ambiguity, and items for which policy or official guidance to staff is needed when conflicts arising from the overlap. | |
