FORTAG Outreach Seaside

The Fort Ord Regional Trail and Greenway (FORTAG) is a proposed 28-mile regional network of paved recreational trails and greenways connecting communities to open space. FORTAG will make it easier and more comfortable for people to walk, bike, skate, and stroll throughout the Monterey Peninsula. The Canyon del Rey segment of FORTAG is in construction now, and stretches 1.5 miles along the State Route 218 / Canyon Del Rey corridor through Del Rey Oaks and Seaside. There are also segments in Marina and Fort Ord that will start construction in the next year.
