William R. Davie Park Improvements

William R. Davie Park is a 107 acre regional park located at 4635 Pineville-Matthews Road in Charlotte, NC 28226. The park offers multi-purpose fields, ball fields, playgrounds, parking, restrooms, picnic areas, a basketball court, a sand volleyball court, a dog park, indoor pavilion/conference center, and a recycling center.

Park Improvements will include:

Mecklenburg County Park and Recreation has initiated design for improvements to the existing dog park that will address accessibility and maintainability. See details below.
Mecklenburg County Solid Waste and Recycling Division and Park and Recreation Department are working in partnership to improve the recycling-only center at the William Davie Park and replace the current un-staffed recycling bins with a staffed location to reduce recycling contamination. See more information in the "Recycling Center tab".
In spring 2024, the existing playground structures were replaced by Park and Recreation.
