Draft Vision Statement for the Children and Youth Well-Being Plan
Draft Vision Statement for the Children and Youth Well-Being Plan
Arlington County is developing a County-wide plan to improve the well-being of children and youth. County staff, the Children and Youth Well-Being Network, and community members will work together to shape the vision and roadmap for this effort. Our first step is developing a vision statement to guide the plan. Please see the draft vision statement below and share your feedback.

How the Draft Vision Statement Was Developed
In Summer 2025, staff collected early feedback from the community, the Children Youth Well-Being Network, and teen ambassadors on the common values that should guide the Children and Youth Well-Being Plan. Using that input, a vision group of staff, teens, and committed community partners developed the draft vision statement.
