US 30 in Denison - Crawford

Improvements to U.S. 30 / 59 over Union Pacific Railroad dual bridge replacement and associated roundabouts project in Denison.

Overview of Project

Iowa DOT is planning to replace the two U.S. 30/59 bridges over the Union Pacific Railroad and construct associated roundabouts in Denison. Roundabouts are proposed to be constructed at both the south and middle buckets of U.S. 30 and U.S. 59.

Construction is preliminarily scheduled to start fall of 2028 and end fall of 2031.

Detours will be in place during the project and will be coordinated with Crawford County and the City of Denison.
