Gus Garcia Recreation Center Senior Wing Project Survey 1
Gus Garcia Recreation Center Senior Wing Project Survey 1
The Gustavo "Gus" L. Garcia Recreation Center Senior Wing project is an anticipated facility expansion project to support the growing number of ageing adults in the area. The additional space at the recreation center will be a dedicated, welcoming space for people 50 years and older with programs and services. This survey is designed to help us design a senior center wing that reflects the needs, interests, and values of our community. If you’ve already completed this survey on paper, there’s no need to fill it out again, your input has been received and appreciated! All questions are optional.
What is your age range?
How often do you currently visit Gus Garcia Recreation Center?
What time of day do you prefer to attend programs?
What types of programs would you like to have in the senior center wing? Choose up to 5.
Which spaces do you think are important in a senior center? (Accessible restrooms will be included.) Please help us prioritize by rating the importance of each area.
Food access is important in many senior centers. What kind of kitchen setup would best support your needs at the new senior center?
How important are the following location features for the new senior center?
The new senior center will be part of a larger recreation campus that serves all ages. While the senior center will be a dedicated space for older adults, how important is it to you that it also offers occasional intergenerational activities (including events with youth, family programs, or shared classes)?
What else would you like to see in the new senior center?
