FY2024 San Diego Housing Commission NOFA Public Comment
Public Comments Invited – Notices of Funding Availability
Periodically, the San Diego Housing Commission (SDHC) issues a Notice(s) of Funding Availability (NOFA) to facilitate acquisition and new construction, acquisition with rehabilitation, or rehabilitation of affordable multifamily rental housing developments and permanent supportive housing in the City of San Diego.
SDHC invites public comment on the Fiscal Year 2024 (FY24) Draft Guidelines for two types of NOFAs:
- Notice of Funding Availability for Permanent Supportive Housing
- Notice of Funding Availability for Affordable Housing
Comments will inform the development of the FY24 Guidelines for each respective NOFA type. While there is no final determination on NOFA type and funding sources at this time, final NOFA guidelines for one or both types are planned for release in Fall 2023. All public comments on the contents of the draft guidelines will be considered, but may not be accepted, for inclusion in the Final FY24 Traditional Affordable Housing NOFA or FY24 Permanent Supportive Housing NOFA Guidelines at SDHC’s sole discretion.
SDHC staff is actively working on updates to the FY24 Draft NOFA Guidelines, and this comment period is one step in the process. Staff requests written comments on the requirements and scoring criteria outlined in each set of draft guidelines before 2:00 PM PST on Monday, August 7, 2023.
