Hermosa Avenue Crosswalk Survey
Hermosa Avenue Crosswalk Survey
As a follow-up to the neighborhood meeting held on September 12th at Hermosa Park, the City's Engineering Services Team along with a third-party Traffic Engineer would like to thank the neighbors that attended to share their input regarding the Hermosa Avenue area crosswalks. To ensure we are hearing from those that were not able to attend and for those that did attend and would like to share additional information, we are providing this online option to share input.
To improve pedestrian access throughout the City, the City of Rancho Cucamonga is reviewing pedestrian crossings at the following locations:
- Hermosa Avenue at Mignonette Street
- Hermosa Avenue at Monte Vista Avenue
- 19th Street at Cartilla Avenue
To make this possible, the City is collecting information to assess potential improvements including, but not limited to the collection of:
- Vehicle Counts
- Vehicle Speed
- Pedestrian Counts
- Collision Data Review (previous 5 years)
- California Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices (CAMUTCD) Warrants
Please take a few moments to answer the following questions to assist us with this study. After data is collected and the study is completed, the summarized findings and recommendations will be shared at a City Council meeting.
