Hurst Boulevard Vision
Hurst Boulevard Vision
The City of Hurst, in collaboration with the North Central Texas Council of Governments and the Texas Department of Transportation, is conducting a comprehensive corridor redevelopment plan. The study area is State Highway 10 bounded by Interstate 820 to the west and Bell Flight Boulevard to the east. Hurst Boulevard Vision is a plan that will evaluate adjacent land uses and opportunities for connecting multi-modal transportation to the corridor. This website will be a tool for online public engagement, access to relevant project materials, and updates to plan status and upcoming events. NCTCOG is funding this study to support regional goals advancing multi-modal transportation, safety, and economic development along the existing TxDOT State Highway 10 roadway. It’s important to note that once a vision is established, partners from all sectors must work together for plans to move forward and the vision to be brought to fruition. There are many factors that could impact the execution of the plan, but we are focused on doing what we can to stimulate redevelopment in this area based on the community’s needs and priorities.
