The natural environment and resources is highly valued in the San Luis Valley. Scenic vistas, recreation, and wildlife habitats make up the open spaces that the community identifies as valuable. Natural resources can also include elements such as water quantity and quality, which residents have voiced as a need to preserve and manage.

QUALITY OF LIFE

The quality of life of the Alamosa community is dependent on housing, economy, connectivity, education, health, safety, and essential resources (water and energy). Consider what a high quality of life looks like you to, your family, and the greater community.
