Jefferson Avenue Reconstruction

In 2014, Grand Rapids voters established the Vital Streets fund. This fund dedicates its focus to improving our street conditions. The Jefferson Avenue project is funded by Vital Streets. Construction is expected to happen in 2026 or 2027.

Construction is expected to start in 2026 or 2027.

This is a reconstruction project. Contractors will replace the road and upgrade what is listed below:

Driveway approaches and sidewalks
Water
Parkways and street trees
Storm sewer
