Overview of Project

Iowa DOT is planning to replace a culvert on Iowa 9 east of Rock Rapids.  The exisitng twin box culvert will be replaced with a single box culvert.

Work is scheduled to begin in late spring 2027.

Traffic will be detoured during construction.  The detour would follow County Road K60 south at the intersection of IA 9 and County road K60 to County Road A34, then east on County Road A34 to US 75, then north to the intersection of IA 9 and US 75.
