DESIGN MANUAL FOR WATER AND SEWER UTILITIES UPDATES
This page is dedicated to the release and open discussion of the Division of Water and Sewer Uilities, Department of Engineering and Planning, Design Manual for Water and Sewer Utilites
Today's engineering and planning designs are executed primarily using software and the latest technologies, with that, the Engineering and Planning Department has changed the way it receives and reviews plans. In addition, shifts have taken place affecting all facets of water and sewer infrastructure, for example, the introduction of the Green Streets Manual, new data center users, construction supply change demands for materials and how we collect, use and store data for its infrastructure records. The Division of Water and Sewer Utilites recognizes that it is incumbent on the Division to update its manual to a format that can be navigated more easily for engineers, owners, developers, contractors and other users , while also enhancing direction and detail by providing guidance that matches current administrative and other practices.
The Division invites your input!
