Project Update: 9/11/2024
Floyd Curl Update:
Floyd Curl Drive (Hueber Road to Charles Katz) Closure --- Beginning Sunday, September 15, 2024, from 9:00 P.M. to Monday, September 16, 2024, the contractor will close Floyd Curl between Huebner and Fawn Meadow to conduct a concrete pour. Beginning at 6:00 A.M., off-duty police officers will be on-site to facilitate traffic. The roadway will reopen by 2:00 P.M. Electronic signage was put in place to alert drivers of the upcoming closure. For ease of reference, below is a map showing the closure and detour routes.

The contactor is working on: Roadway reconstruction (southbound lanes).
Planned activities: Roadway excavation.
Lane closures: Floyd Curl Southbound lanes – barricaded work zone. Two-way traffice will be maintained. See map provided.
Hamilton Wolfe (from Babcock to Cinnamon Hill Drive) is reduced to two lanes -- one in each direction -- through mid-October
Hamilton Wolfe Update:
The contactor is working on: Pedestrian bridge rip rap excavation, storm drain, and irrigation main.
Planned activities: Bridge rap rap, sidewalk and cycle track construction, driveways, and curb ramps.
Lane closures: Hamilton Wolfe Eastbound lanes – barricaded work zone. Two-way traffice will be maintained. See map provided

Project Update: 7/23/2024
The contractor will perform a closure of Hamilton Wolfe on the eastside of Floyd Curl for approximately 3 weeks (no through traffic on Hamilton Wolfe at the intersection). This closure is necessary to construct the concrete paving through the intersection (constructing Floyd Curl NB direction). Traffic on Hamilton Wolfe will be detoured through Floyd Curl, Wurzbach, and Ewing Hassell. The traffic along Floyd Curl will not be affected. Detours to be implemented on Wednesday, July 31, 2024 weather permitting. Businesses will continue to have vehicular access.
