Spring Ridge Stormwater Retrofit & Stream Restoration Project
Spring Ridge Stormwater Retrofit & Stream Restoration Project
The Frederick County Division of Energy & Environment (DEE) Stormwater Department has initiated many restoration projects within the Spring Ridge development. These projects will help respond to concerns expressed by the community, such as flood risks, and provide better stormwater management and stewardship of the environment. The work includes over 11,000 feet of stream restoration and retrofitting of seven stormwater facilities located throughout the neighborhood. We want to work with Spring Ridge residents as we design these projects and have developed this website so you can learn about the work, stay updated on project status, and submit any comments or questions you may have.
