Get Involved in Alexandria’s FY 2027 Budget Process

Each year, the City of Alexandria develops an annual budget that outlines how we invest in core services like education, public safety, housing, and transportation. The process begins in the fall and continues through the spring, when City Council adopts the final budget.

You can be part of shaping the FY27 budget by attending public hearings, listening to work sessions, submitting questions, or stopping by one of our community engagement events. Your input helps City leaders make informed decisions about Alexandria’s priorities and investments for the year ahead.

Stay tuned for updates, event details, and opportunities to get involved throughout the FY27 budget season.
