The next chapter starts now, as Buncombe County Parks & Recreation partners with the community to reimagine, redesign, and rebuild Owen Park.

Reimagining Owen Park Community Meeting
Meet with Parks & Recreation staff and project designers to learn about the project and tell us your vision for Charles D. Owen Park. Through conversations and hands-on activities, you’ll have a chance to share your history with the park, tell us your recreation needs in the present, and discuss opportunities for the future.
The event will take place in the Owen Middle School gymnasium, and Spanish-language interpretation will be available
The evening will begin with a brief presentation by Hoerr Schaudt, the design team for the project, but please feel free to drop in anytime from 6 to 8 p.m. This event is co-sponsored by the Swannanoa Grassroots Alliance.
