Initiative Statement

By March 2024, a master agreement for third party review services that provides support for all site plan review disciplines will be executed allowing the City of Austin to capitalize on economies of scale, with the goal of shortening review times and enhancing the overall efficiency and cost-effectiveness of the organization's review capabilities.

Impact Statement

Developing a framework that allows deployment of third party resources when needed will reduce review times and allow the City to maintain service level when managing high volume and/ or low staffing, while maintaining exceptional development standards.
