Ribbonwalk Nature Center and Preserve
Ribbonwalk Nature Preserve is an existing ~190-acre Mecklenburg County property located at 5017 Hoyt Hinson Rd., Charlotte, NC 28269.
This project will enhance Ribbonwalk Nature Preserve, an existing 190-acre Nature Preserve. The project scope will include development of a small Nature Center, shelter, trails, parking and signage.

Mecklenburg County Park and Recreation invite you to a public meeting for Ribbonwalk Nature Center & Preserve located in the Nevin Park Community Area. Join us on Tuesday, June 23, 2026, anytime between 5:30 p.m. -7:30 p.m. at Nevin Park (near Outdoor Shelter #2) 6000 Statesville Road, Charlotte, NC 28269 to learn more about this project and to provide your feedback.
Note: This meeting is a joint meeting for two County projects (Ribbonwalk Nature Center & Preserve & Nevin Park Improvements).
