Public Feedback Survey: Coleman Avenue Pilot Project
Public Feedback Survey: Coleman Avenue Pilot Project
The Coleman Avenue Pilot Project (Pilot) was identified through the Coleman-Ringwood Avenues Transportation Study as a quick-build option to improve safety for people biking.
The Pilot was installed in summer 2025 and included:
- Removal of parking: Parking was removed from the north side of Coleman Avenue to allow for the installation of a bike lane.
- New bicycle facilities: A bike lane was installed towards Ringwood Avenue and a shared lane for people biking and driving towards Willow Road.
- New traffic calming: Rubberized speed cushions were installed to reduce driving speeds.
Now that the pilot has been in place for approximately 9 months, the City is seeking community input to better understand how the improvements are being experienced by those who use the corridor.
Your responses will help the City evaluate the effectiveness of the Pilot. The survey responses will be analyzed and summarized for the Complete Streets Commission and City Council to inform the next steps. The survey will remain open until Sunday, May 31.
