Affordable Housing Plan
Affordable Housing Plan
The AHF is a permanent, annually renewable source of revenue used to serve the housing needs of the City’s very low-, low-, and median-income households. Historically funds have been used to create and preserve affordable housing, support homeownership efforts, and fund homelessness solutions.
What is the AHF Annual Plan?
Every year, SDHC must prepare an AHF Annual Plan for how they will use the funds in the upcoming fiscal year. AHF funds are generally flexible and are used to create programs that prioritize serving the housing needs of the City’s very low-, low-, and median-income households. You can see examples of the kinds of projects the AHF can support by visiting the “Overview” page.
The Annual Plan defines the types of activities and programs eligible for AHF-funding in your community and the broader City of San Diego; and
Provides a framework for planning and budgeting of AHF revenues; and
Specifies the amount of funds budgeted for housing activities and administrative expenses.
