Land Development Academy 

The Land Development Academy brings together the best instruction from the City of Austin departments involved in the site plan review process. This educational program offers a deeper look at the site plan review process from the experts who do this work. After testing and perfecting the curriculum with City staff, the Land Development Academy is now available for everyone who wants to better understand this process and its purpose. Whether you are a developer, a contractor, a neighbor, or a curious community member, we look forward to growing, learning and continuing to improve with you.

Land Development Academy “Coffee Chats” are an added bonus for participants. Every few months, we give you an opportunity to join our expert instructors to discuss the topics that interest you. This is a great way to personalize your Land Development Academy experience and get to know the people who do this work for Austin. It’s also a great time to pick up your mug if you have attended two or more Land Development Academy sessions!
