Downtown Greenville Conference Center and Mixed-Use Development
Downtown Greenville Conference Center and Mixed-Use Development
Over the past few decades, downtown Greenville has emerged as an award-winning destination featuring a thriving Main Street, abundant parks and green spaces, family-friendly events, cultural amenities, and a multitude of unique restaurants and shops. The City of Greenville, Greenville County, and local developers are currently exploring ways to increase the number of overnight visitor stays associated with attracting sizeable conferences, conventions, and meetings and believe there are many advantages to having a central space downtown to anchor Greenville’s growing tourist and cultural industry. As a result, a team led by LMN Architects is developing a master plan for a new conference facility and adjacent mixed-use development project along the Reedy River between River Street and Academy Street.
Through a series of outreach and engagement meetings, surveys, and social media, we are seeking your ideas and feedback about ways the project can benefit our community.
