Little Zilker Park Dog Off-Leash Area Pilot

Little Zilker Park Dog Off-Leash Area Pilot

The Parks and Recreation Department is exploring an off-leash area for dogs in Little Zilker Neighborhood Park. This pilot program aims to reduce the frequency of off-leash dogs in the park outside of the designated area, reduce conflicts between park users and off-leash dogs, encourage compliance with city ordinance, and explore community sentiment of the off-leash area in the park.

You feedback will be influential in any consideration of a long-term off-leash area in Little Zilker Neighborhood Park as well as exploring off-leash areas in other neighborhood parks. For more information, visit the pilot project webpage.
