The Long Range Transportation Plan (LRTP) is a 25-year plan that establishes transportation priorities for the nine county Genesee-Finger Lakes region. The LRTP provides the strategic direction for more detailed planning and implementation of specific transportation projects. In order to obtain federal transportation funding our region must have a long range transportation plan. The LRTP for the Genesee-Finger Lakes Region 2045 (LRTP 2045) is currently under development and scheduled to be adopted in June 2021. Once complete, LRTP 2045 will be used by federal, state, and local governments to guide transportation investment decision making in our region.

Genesee Transportation Council conducted the first round of outreach in August. The second round will take place in February and March 2021.

Talk with GTC staff directly. Ask questions and give feedback. The virtual open houses will be hosted on this page.
