Purpose
The Lake Austin Stakeholder Group will provide community-informed input on topics related to the stewardship of Lake Austin such as aquatic vegetation management, water quality, drawdowns, ecological health, recreation, etc. and how these topics affect residential, commercial, natural, and recreational interests. Members will represent stakeholder groups with interests in Lake Austin such as homeowners, businesses, recreational communities, and naturalists. They will serve as a communication link between these groups and City of Austin management to ensure all voices are heard when evaluating management options within the context of City, TPWD, and LCRA guidelines.

Expectations for members:
Members will gather input from the stakeholder group they represent and listen to concerns from other community members. The goal is to provide City of Austin management with consensus recommendations that reflect the interests of the community.

Members will prepare organized summaries of their stakeholder community input and share them with City staff at quarterly meetings. This process helps provide a clear picture of the community's perspectives and values beyond individual conversations.

After each meeting, members will communicate outcomes back to their respective groups to keep everyone informed.

Meetings will take place in person, quarterly, during a weekday lunch hour.
