CAMBRIDGE FARMS WATER STORAGE NO. 2
CAMBRIDGE FARMS WATER STORAGE NO. 2
DIVISION OF WATER AND SEWER UTILITIES, DEPARTMENT OF ENGINEERING & PLANNING
PROJECT INFORMATION:
The Division of Water and Sewer Utilities (“DWSU”) owns and maintains the water system in Cambridge Farms, which is a small water system supplied by five (5) groundwater wells and treated at a water treatment facility adjacent to a water storage tank. The small water system was constructed in conjunction with the Cambridge Farms subdivision circa 1991. The water storage tank uses bolted-steel panels with a glass-fused coating and is a standpipe nearly 100 feet tall with a capacity of a little more than 360,000 gallons. In 2022, a Capital Improvement Program (CIP) project was identified to install a second water storage tank to assist in the maintenance of the exisiting tank.
