Veterans Memorial Park Master Plan Survey
Welcome to the public engagement opportunity for the Veterans Memorial Park Master Plan. Your responses will help us to better serve all visitors to Veterans Memorial Park for years to come. This virtual public engagement will be open to visitors until Friday, Nov. 11.
Note: This survey is intended for those who either could not attend the USF workshop in person or would like to provide additional feedback on the workshop questions. See previous survey
Overview
Veterans Memorial Park is home to 14 war memorials and the Rear Admiral Leroy Collins, Jr. Veterans Museum. It also serves as a venue for regional ceremonies on Veterans Day, Memorial Day, and Patriot Day, along with a variety of other organized events.
Established oak trees provide a well-shaded and tranquil setting for reading, reflection, meditation, picnicking, gathering as a family, or walking/jogging the many paths that include a fitness trail along the Bypass Canal.
The University of South Florida, on behalf of the County, is facilitating a participatory design process to generate consensus and develop a vision for the future of Veterans Memorial Park. This survey will help prioritize potential improvements and amenities identified from online public input and an open house earlier this year.
