Austin Transportation and Public Works (ATPW) is improving safety and mobility along Montopolis Drive between Riverside Drive and US 183 in response to strong community support for safer streets. Staff gathered input in summer 2025 to understand ways to improve safety and mobility for people traveling on Montopolis Drive by all transportation modes.

May 2025—In-Person Listening Sessions
June 2025—Survey closes
Fall 2025—Staff report back on findings and next steps
Spring 2026—Near-term safety improvements, including traffic signal upgrades and sidewalk and curb ramp work, anticipated to begin construction
Mid-2026—Staff share longer-term concept for community feedback
